Pay & time
Every dollar, explained.
How your travel package works
A travel package has two parts: a taxable hourly wage — what your W-2 income is built on — and tax-free stipends for housing and meals while you work away from your tax home. Stipend limits come from federal GSA rates for your assignment's city, and keeping a qualifying tax home is what keeps them tax-free — that's why we ask about it during onboarding. Local contracts pay fully taxable wages instead.
When your offer comes, every one of these lines is printed in it — and once payroll is live, every check shows the same lines here, next to what your contract promised.
